BIOGRAPHY – Amit Goswami
Amit Goswami is a retired physics professor at the University of Oregon, where he served in college, from 1986 until 1997.
The significance of quantum physics has been largely obscured. While researching, Amit found that when quantum physics is formulated within the metaphysics of qualified non-dualism, like an Indian Vedanta, questions about meaning are resolved immediately. Her work thus integrates science and spirituality. This work culminated in her most recent book on physics Valentina Onisor, Quantum Spirituality.
Subsequently, he developed the theory of reincarnation and integrated conventional and alternative medicines into the new quantum health science. Among his discoveries are the quantum theory of the creative process, the theory of quantum evolution, and the theory of quantum economics that extends Adam’s Smith’s capitalism into a viable paradigm for the 21st century.
In 2009, he started a movement called “quantum activism”, which is gaining ground in North and South America, southern and eastern Europe and India. In 2018, together with his collaborators, he established Quantum Activism Vishwalayam, a transformational education institution in India, based on quantum science and the primacy of consciousness. This program offers master’s and doctoral programs in Quantum Health Science, Prosperity and Happiness under the auspices of the University of Technology, Jaipur.
Amit is the author of numerous books, most notably: The Self-Aware Universe, Physics of the Soul, The Quantum Doctor, God is Not Dead, Quantum Creativity, and The Everything Answer Book. It was featured in the film What the Bleep Do We Know !? and in the documentaries Dalai Lama Renaissance and The Quantum Activist.
Amit is a spiritual practitioner and calls himself a quantum activist in search of the Whole.
Introduction to Quantum Activism: a workshop by Amit Goswami, PhD
There is a revolution taking place in science: a genuine paradigm shift. While conventional science remains materialistic, a substantial number of scientists are supporting and developing a paradigm based on the primacy of consciousness. Scientific evidence for the existence of God and God’s creative power of descending causality is easily revealed when viewed through the conceptual lens of this new paradigm. It is in an uncommon state of consciousness in which we are one, and through this consciousness the God we are discovering through science is not separate from us. So, what to do about these new revelations? Quantum activism gives us a manifesto to change ourselves and our societies using guidelines from this new paradigm.
In this workshop, participants will explore the transformative aspects of quantum physics. Briefly, these are: non-locality (the ability to communicate without signals); discontinuity (the ability to make quantum leaps without going through intermediate steps); and entangled hierarchy (the capacity for causally circular relationships). This workshop will also explain how a person can use these quantum principles to guide himself and society towards creativity and conflict resolution as well as learning how to use the energies of love.
