“Honoring the resilience of our ancestors and the sacred earth we walk upon through family and human systems constellation.
Remembering Place – Honoring Mother Earth
As humans have fled and left the lands of origin, there is often a collective amnesia. Where did I come from? Why did my family leave? Are the wounds to big for my ancestors to carry and I will carry this difficulty for them.
With family systems constellation and various applications of constellation work, the natural hierarchy is healing when honored. In Nature Constellations we have observed a psychosocial field which can overlay locations of trauma, which is more temporal, and beneath that transitory field is ‘deep earth’, ‘mother earth’, terra firma (firm land). This is the depth of the earth which is connected to antiquity, stability, and stable foundation for life; what is our understanding or relationship with that depth?
Do I honor that the land came first?
Do I acknowledge that the earth is the ‘big one’?
Do I think the wounds of the country, the place, are too big for the earth to carry?
Am I able to think of nature as conscious?
With every historical travesty and tragedy, nature, and the earth was there. A sacred container, at times a refuge, in the time of modernity we have diminished the sacred capacity of Mother Earth.
In this workshop we will honor the land, find our right place, and experience the consciousness of the land and nature. Recognizing what Hellinger called “greater forces”, we will recognize those historical events which were a part of painful heavy fates, and we will give them to the land, and discover that the land is big enough.
Utilizing breakout rooms, constellation and collective ritual, we have opportunity to inform the greater field that the earth endures. She has carried us for generations, witnessed, held, and sustained our human family.
